So yesterday was one of those ‘Oooooo’ days. I wasn’t expecting any ‘Oooooo’s’ but then, in my experience, you never do. I expected yesterday to be a steady sort of day, getting my physical therapy (Swimming) done and then off to a gathering of like minded business people. I shouldn’t have been there really, as I am supposed to be recovering from illnesses, resting etc. However, it was next-door to where I swim so it would have been rude not to pop in to see my business friends from that former life.
Not able to keep my ideas from flooding out, I let one loose into the room and bam. It was jumped upon as a good idea. I am now terrified – this is where the Ooooo has come in – as not only is the pesky idea shouting at me to get it sorted but now real people are holding me to account. Luckily, I can research and do a bit o’learning whilst in a personal recovery phase so I can press ahead in this way. More details later, but it is word related.
I have just booked to see Kate Mosse (the writer not the model) on her 20th Anniversary Labyrinth Tour. The venue I have chosen is Buxton Opera House which is in ‘Pretty Derbyshire’ as opposed to the ‘Ugly’ bit I reside in. I am not sure I have ever been to a production at this theatre and I am already looking forward to it. We are going to be transported there in Joe (to a local campsite) and then in Mrs Fle when we are nearer. This is all part of the pacing thing, as it is perfectly possible for us to go there and back on the day. I promise to write it up so you can be there with me – vicariously (sorry, the big word just popped out….like the idea).
