I am Kay Adkins and I created KAM Ltd in 1998.It has provided services and support for many clients including the International Basketball Federation, British Cycling, British Triathlon, Sheffield United Football Club, The FA, Chesterfield Football Club, Sport England, many Councils and Charities. These services including Project Development and Management, Learning and Training Development, producing Marketing Materials, Safeguarding and Welfare, and Business Planning and Fund Raising.
Recently I rebranded KAM to OhKayWords! to focus a little more on the writing as well as the training.
I am also a Company Director in a family Manufacturing Business and I oversee Marketing and Business Development, Finance, and HR. I have also previously been a Trustee at a Community Football Trust and a Director of The British Equestrian Federation. I have coached, trained and managed in a variety of situations including at two World Equestrian Games and two European Championships.
I have written a regular column in the local newspaper, been a columnist (A view from the Tub) for an online leisure publication and written for a football club's programme over a period of several years. I have and do produce marketing materials for business as well as writing training and development programmes.
This is where I and OhKayWords! are going from here on in - I would like to write and create marketing/ promotional materials for you. I would also like to help you and your teams learn and develop - to inspire you to new challenges.
Finally I am writing a book called 'Permission'. It is a journey about learning through my story and it will provide the base for my new learning programme aimed towards inspiring older learners..
