Focus, Focus, Focus

I know how to live. This morning – the dump – this afternoon the dump again. Well actually, I am tapping away in one of our local towns that I loving call ‘the dump’*, whereas my destination this morning was an actual dump, tip, waste management centre etc. Mum and Dad lived on the outskirts of this lovely place, however, I have been dragged kicking and screaming into the centre by ‘Im Indoors.

He has a sight test in which they turn his eyes orange (not much difference there then) so he won’t be able to see to come home. I could have left him here, I suppose. the danger was, if I hadn’t offered to drive, he may have kidnapped Mrs FLE and then drove home himself. I would have had to kill him if he had put a mark on that lovely Magenta Fizz coat.

Right then. I have been contemplating my navel, thinking, strategising and consulting wise gurus (that is you Joe if you are reading) and I think I have a plan. I need to be more focused, even if you don’t want me to be. It is my intention to update you weekly on this page. You lucky people will have a full week’s ramblings all in one place. I am not sure which day would be best for you all – please let me know in the comments if you have a preference but I think I am going to go for a Monday until someone or some algorithm tells me differently.

This will give me the time to write A Class Adventures and My Writing/Teaching (still to be wittingly named), of which I will also drop in once a week. I think ‘A Class Adventures’ will drop on a Thursday (ready for the weekend) and the other one, probably a Friday, but I am not quite ready to launch that yet.

There you go then. I will see you next Monday. There will be plenty to report on. I am off to learn all about decarbonisation tomorrow and then we are heading to Norfolk with Joe, the FLE and the Terror Twins. Give us a wave if you see us out on the roads, we are quite distinctive.

*Please Note: my opinion about this town is purely my own and if any of you recognise and love it, then I am sorry…for you. I have been coming here since I was a child, I even worked for the local council for a while so I feel I am able to have my view. Oh, and sorry Dad, I know you loved it.
