Righty ho Peeps, let’s get a little more organised. Today is allocated for administrative purposes and my ramblings here is the first to be ‘administrated’.
The Diary of a Fifty Something Nobody will remain as is, for now. That is, a short update everyday. However, I will also write a longer article once a month. This will be based on issues facing us Fiftysomething Nobodies. I suspect it will be primarily health based but I am sure will stray into finance and caring responsibilities.
I have created a new Substack Feed which is called ‘A Class Adventures’. Under this feed, I will deliver one newsletter a week about motor-homing which will be published on a Wednesday. I will then produce more in-depth ‘reports’ at least twice a month. These reports will be on a range of things but they will focus on the issues and fun of having a larger unit e.g. ‘To tow a car or not tow a car’, ‘Garage packing’ and of course ‘Our trip to…..???’
I will also create a Writing feed. However, I am unsure whether it will live here or on somewhere like Patreon. For now, I am not quite well enough to be working on this element yet so I will just feed a few thoughts on this subject in my general diary.
That is that sorted for now. So my quick daily update then…..
- The ongoing grey, cold weather is definitely affecting my health. I understand we are due a warm spell later this week so I hope for a good few days.
- I feel good that we managed a trip out in Joe this past weekend but I am now wiped out. It doesn’t take much. I have a busy week ahead, although not as busy as it used to be. I am not sure how to manage being kind to myself during the ‘busyness’ so I will experiment and report back.
- It is 41 years today since I passed my driving test. It would have also been my Auntie Fran’s 91st birthday (I always remember my driving test anniversary because it falls on the same day). Unfortunately, she died during that month from hell we had last May/ June last year. Today is a day to remember the good times and to get through as well as you can. That first birthday after they leave us is always the toughest.
- And finally, can someone please tell me why men spend so much time on the toilet in a morning? Is it a thing or is it just in our house?
